1)The slow moving car in the left lane should have been in the right lane. The left lane is for fast moving traffic and emergency use when needed.

2)No, the officer was NOT late going home. He was responding to a call!!! Did you not read the paper? But people such as you will always have something negative to say about officers and emergency personnell. Makes you feel "big" and important.BUT YOU WILL BE THE FIRST TO CALL.

On Deputy removed by Jaws of Life in car lot wreck

Will you look at FACTS with me.

-We lost THREE young men in the Waco Plane crash.
-All had families which loved them and now mourn each.
-Only ONE of the THREE was in charge of safety that fateful
night; the pilot.
-Two of the THREE were NOT pilots and had no control, no
matter what they did or did not do.
-The pilot(no matter who) was responsible for the lives of
all THREE.
-THe pilot broke the law and ALL safety rules by using ANY
TYPE DRUG OR ALCOHOL while being responsible for the
his life and the lives of the other two men.
-If the pilot would have said NO to using the DRUGS or NO
to piloting the plane after using the drugs and narcotics
we would not be mourning the loss of the THREE young
men.
Now, for my comment.
I did not know Mr.Brown personally. I knew his family. I
know of good things Mr. Brown accomplished for the youth of our community.
I knew Mr.Cardneaux in Little League Baseball many years ago and cannot speek factually of his habits or involvement.
Jerry Roberts I did know personnally. I knew him to work untiringly for his family-To be totally committed to the youth of his and other communities-to referee, umpire and coach
our youth for many years. If you wanted to find Jerry find out where our youth was involved in sports. He would be involved at one or more of the contests. I watched him referee basketball and football. His actions told you he was putting as much heart, strength and mental ability as he could muster in the contests.
He was a winner but mostly he wanted to teach our young people how to win and how to lose.
There was no want, desire or time for drugs, narcotics or alcohol in Jerry's life.
To each of the THREE families I say to you,"Go to a quiet place where only you and God are present. Talk to HIM and put your burdens on his shoulders. HE can and will handle them and HE will "carry" you through your terrible loss.
