Cox for Sheriff? Really? Did I miss something in the article? Did it have anything to do with the sheriff race? I am still undecided about who to vote for, but that sure made me have one less candidate to choose from!
Hope everyone has a safe and fun balloon race weekend! I can't wait to see everyone who will be back in town this weekend!

I am very sorry for the loss of this family home! My family has had a home up there for years as well and I could not imagine the memories you have lost!
As far as arguing over where the house was located... Yes, I put on here that the house was not located on the backside of the lake so that people who do not live on the lake and have homes on the backside of the lake will know that their homes are ok!
obamayamama, I am not even going to start arguing with you over who needs to be corrected. I still say the statement you made was very rude and uncalled for but that is all I have to say about it!

Please read the article before you resond. The article says the house was located between spokane landing and Lake St. John Grocery. This is NOT the backside of the lake!

That statement was VERY rude. This is an elderly ladies home who could not live alone anymore. This house was this ladies HOME, not just a vacation home.
In case you did not know Lake St. John received as much damage as Natchez from the storm on Sunday.

I agree with purecountry!! Angie needs time to deal with what is going on around her without having to worry about what people around town are saying! It is not up to us to decide who takes Ronny's place, the supervisors will make the right decision.

How about telling them good job for taking some of the dope off of our streets? Yes, I agree that this was not a "big bust" as someone said but at least it shows that they are out there doing something!
Regardless of how you feel about smoking weed it is still ILLEGAL! So, until it is legal people who have it are going to be arrested when caught! So, thanks Metro Narcotics for trying to get some of the dope off of our streets and away from our children!

I moved from the county to the city... My tag alone doubled! Almost every bill that I have is more than it ever was in the county!! I have friends and family who live in the county and they do not want to be part of the city at all. Good job supervisors for wanting to find out what the people they represent want!

Why did Cox pull out of the cook off? generoberts since you seem to add "Cox for Sheriff" to articles that have nothing to do with the election, maybe you can answer that question?
