Interesting, so Cox really only raised $13,000 out in the community and Freeman only raised $9,000 in our community since Breaux is not from here.
It looks like Mayfield must have only small donations, because the Democrat didn't point out any big ones out. But he managed to really raise to most money?

Problem is, the intent and the spirit of the law when it was written. Political signs were to go up 60 days from the election date.
Do we really want a Sheriff who operates in the gray area? The rest of the candidates should go ahead and put their signs up and make it an even playing field.

natchezrepublican, I'm with you. A piano bar would be great. I understand that the plans that were approved in 2007 had the piano bar clearly laid out. These people have invested a couple of million dollars into this project. The time for restrictions should be over. How are we ever going to get new business if this is the way investors are treated?

The board already knew this money was coming. The money was appropriated from the state last year. It was no shock. The approval to recieve the money was the last step. It is how government works. I guess Gardner was taken back at the insanity to now reject what alot of people in this city, both in and out of government, have worked on for several years.
