These are the real people that built Natchez. They raised familys here and poured their hard earned money back into the community. Coached and supported all the youth of the area. Who would believe we would miss the smell of the mill while riding by acres of christmas decorations.

Less than 18% of the participants responded? Does this sound like the busiiness owners of our community are satisfied or are they too entrenched in their feelings that Natchez is just fine the way it is? This article should be full of sarcasm, questions and inuendo of the status quo. Instead the democrat saves that for their "gossip" articles.

Has anyone thought about the inmates family members moving to the area to be close to them? Just think of the housing boom, increased tax revenues, Crime! But hey, 400 jobs is 400 jobs.
