You can call it luck, but the number one characteristic of a championship-caliber team is finding a way to win when you're not playing your best. The Saint's have done that 3 weeks in a row.

I don't know exactly how long they have to wait, but law enforcement might not act in the first few days. Basically, he is a grown man and can go where he wants without telling anybody. It's unfortunate that he's missing but officials will often wait around to make sure he didn't want to just get away for a while.

If Natchez High loses they are out of the Top 5? They are playing one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the state and you are counting them out if they lose. I think this poll was a great idea, but ya'll have to get the voting process down. Basically, you could just make it a Top 3 because ACCS has always been a joke and Ferriday is marginal at best. Previously, I said Trinity plays in the Pee-Wee leagues but the truth is they are dominating and should be in consideration.

Here's my Top 3:
Centreville: They are always tough and their record so far is good enough.

Natchez High: Their first few opponents were a joke, but they almost beat a good Warren Central team. If they can keep it close against Meridian then they truly deserve this spot.

Trinity: They have good athletes, are well coached, and have dominated the competition. The issue is the level of comp they are playing. I compare them to the Boise State team a few years back- good enough to go undefeated but the schedule leaves a lot of unanswered questions and doubt.

I guarantee if we lined them up, Natchez and Centreville would hand everyone on that list a good whoopin.

Mrs. Warren did this same type of benefit two years ago for my brother and I doubt she was ever properly thanked. This is what this lady does and she is very good at it. Her benefits generate an enormous amount of money and support for individuals and their families who have been struck by tragedy. It may not be enough to fix the problem, but she can keep you on your feet during the hard times. So if we never said it "THANKS ALOT".

Natchez High and Franklin County ranked lower than Centreville and Trinity? No doubt Centreville and Trinity are power-houses in the Pee-Wee league but NHS and FHS play with the big boys. Based on success, I don't argue with the polls but obviously strength of schedule played no part in these rankings.

" I had already started training camp and all that, so I might as well go ahead and finish it".

Good receiver, but this quote sounds seriously immature. If I was the coach, after reading this article I'd call him up and say "go ahead and go JUCO, we don't need you." JSU should prepare their athletes for dealing with the press. If you can't be big time at least act the part. To Richardson- your in the real world now, don't believe what everyone tells you and what you say in print may not be interpreted the way you intended.

ItsMeAgain- I hope you don't have kids to pass that ignorant thinking on to. It may be "just a dog", but it is also a living, breathing animal that FEELS what is happening to it. My comment would get removed if I said what you really were, but the fact is we all know what people treat their animals like that.

Thats right, jedwards. I wouldn't have thought about Woodson playing wide receiver, but I knew he was on special teams.

Not taking anything from Hugh Green, but didn't Charles Woodsen win the Heisman when he played with Michigan. If I recall, he was strictly a cornerback.
