this ordinance is so stupid. I had a car in my yard that i parked and bought a truck. They put an huge sticker in the back window stating a fine would be set if not moved. The car was in my yard and waiting til my son turned 16 so i could pass it to him (which was about 6 months). When i called the people about it they stated that it was abandoned and i was to do something about. How is it abandoned when its in my yard. I could understand if i had a junk yard going on but it was off my driveway in my yard away from the street. I live on a dead end street on the edge of town, no thru traffic. So we just pulled it on the concrete and left it there. I decided to get my son a different car and left that 1 there just 2 prove a point. HA Ha city i got over on u

well i have 2 say that over the past couple of years i have spayed/neutered about 20 of my pets and the cost is outrageous but I dont want anymore small animals that I have 2 train. All mine are strays found within or around my area. Just this year alone Ive spent over 3000 in vet bills. In fact I think my vet drops animals off at my house cause she knows I'll take it in and make it a part of my family LOL. I just cant stand seeing an animal in pain or hurting or being hurt. They cant fight for themselves and we have 2 do it. I wish I could afford to adopt about 20 more pets. Maybe soon I'll be able to since I just fenced in a big part of my yard.

all this moaning and groaning. yeah keep taxing us so we can keep supporting the slackers that dont want to work. if these taxes are going towards health care, think about this, if we all quit smoking and there is no tax money coming in because we all quit where will the money come from then. No one has said anything about this. I plan on quitting and stop buying from ms to stop supporting your health care.

i live at the end of a dead end road and i care for alot of animals that are not mine. I take in strays all the time although I live on a tight budget (just like everyone else) I try really hard to get all the cats in my area fixed. It has cost me alot of money I just wish they would help with that. I dont mind tending to or feeding them, I love animals but at $50 a pop to get them fixed its trying on my income. I wish someone would help with doing this to keep the population down. If you know anywhere that helps with trying to get an animal fixed at a fair price please let me know.

How can u allow a child to return 2 school where the other child possibly goes and allow them 2 travel the halls together. I will never understand how our system lets this occur. What if the stabbed child has a restraining order on his attacker could that prevent the attacker from going 2 school. Me as a parent would not allow my child 2 come back 2 a school where the system allows a vicious attacker 2 attend. I would have 2 fight it. I may have to rethink allowing my child into the concordia parish school system.
