What the heck would society be like without our law enforcment officers? mrbobo probably wouldn't be able to make such absurd statements. Bet he would be kissing officer Godbolds FEET (or another part of his anatomy) were he to come in contact with someone pointing a gun to him and Godbold rescued him!

To the victim: 357 Granny, first of all I know you and think the world of you. I hate you have had to go through all this, ESPECIALLY given all you have already gone through. Make sure the guy is tested for AIDS when they catch him (and they WILL catch him)! Secondly, I really think "southernbelle" was being sacrcastic and and her statement "They were just trying to get what they felt they deserved" in no way was her true feelings. Her whole post was based on sarcasm....just go back and re-read with that in mind and I think you will see it too. Thirdly, I agree with you...they took much more than your valuables....what they took can never be replaced or restored. You are such a fine lady and I think the world of you. Those two just best be grateful they didn't try that with your old man! LOL! All the ladies in the Ms-Lou area need to go to a seminar like the ones Randy Maxwell gives to educate themselves on the do's and don'ts concerning their safety. Alertness, always and everywhere!!!

I need to correct myself...it was Paul Burke, NOT Paul Brown that escorted PS to Don Cavin's house at Buffalo during North and South filming to team rope. I thought of that in the middle of the night last night. Sorry.

ANYONE that knows Sally Durkin knows that she meant her comments in a light-hearted rather than a mean spirit manner. She could care less about the money....and more about the fact that someone like Patrick Swayze actually owed HER!!! The local that PS went roping with was Don Cavin (and he also had his wife, Lisa with him). He was chauffeured to the Don's roping pen by Paul Brown. Yes, he was a normal man and a good hearted soul that never forgot his beginnings.

New Orleans doesn't breed ONLY criminals and scum....there's an awful lot of very godd, hard working NEW ORLEANS FOLK that come from there. They are what keeps that city alive.

another thing....some of you state "this is giving the children experiences they will never forget"...TRUE! BUT....who says those "experiences" will be GOOD ones? Pray to God nothing will happen that will scar those children for life and warp their young minds. This type of trip for and adult...fine...for a child...HECK NO!!...not in these days and times!
