Freedom42 no need to apolize I understand you replying to a comment. I just about fell out of my chair when I read your comment cause I'm like dang you doing your homework. The law may have failed those boys 40 yrs ago but it's nothing we can do about that now. By the law now James Seale really should have never been put in jail in 2007 because of the statue of limiations for kiddnapping, and conspiracy ran out long ago. I just can't see how our state didn't know that before hand. Now we have spent all this money on the case and he is getting out so what good did it ever do to put him in there besides paying for his medical bills. I think there should be justice for anyone who breaks the law of the land, but folks the man that testied aganist him how do we know he is not telling a lie to keep his name clear. I'm willing to bet he told several white lies to keep himself out of trouble.

When I read the headline for this article it stated " Reputed Klansman's cold-case conviction overturned" Nothing that i read in the article had anything to do with Africa. I think if you want to talk about what goes on in AFRICA Oprah would be glad to have you on her show.Get back to the actual topic here.

Everyone can talk until your blue in the face and most of us will have our own opinion. I have read a lot of you talk about justice. He may not get the justice everybody is wanting him to get behind bars but I can assure you unitl this man dies he will suffer. Cancer does not discriminate and it's a very painful death. everything in life happens for a reason, whatever the situation maybe. There are just somethings in life we can't change and never will be able to change it,so we deal with it the best way we know how. Everyone who has made a comment on this page why don't you sit down and say a prayer for this man,and all the familes involved and I can assure you PRAYER WORKS.

I do agree with you.No we should not forget about our history but we should not keep dragging up all the bad memories of what happened. I have one question to all of you who think this should keep getting brought up. Can you drive your car looking in the rear view mirror? I can't and I don't think anyone else can either. The point is you can't go forward if you are always looking back. It sickens me that our goverment can spend all this money on cold case files and they are broke when it comes to taking care of our old people and children.

Just so you know we do not have to admit our guilt or sins to anyone here on earth. As long as we admit our guilt and confess our sins before God you do not have to pay for your crime on earth. Don't get me wrong if you commit a crime I think they should be punished no matter if your black or white. And only GOD knows his true Repentance that's not for you or me to deceide.

I agree no this should not be about black and white, but guess what when you bring up something a klan'man done 40 yrs ago it's going to be a black and white issue because that's how the media want to betray the situation.I would say if he had murdered those boys it would be cold blooded.James Seale was never convicted of murder. My opinion I don't think he killed those boys and there is no evidence saying he did.

I don't know what God you are serving but the God I serve is a forgiving God.A sin is a sin no matter if it's murder or cheating on a spouse in God eyes it's all the same. We cant say if this man will go to heaven or hell that's not for us to decide. The comment that Gimmeabreak made how can you say that Christian and that mans name should not be in the same paragraph? How do you know that man has not seeked God forgiveness? You can not judge someone for what they done 40 years ago people change. I think that some of you people need to know the facts in this case instead of going by what Edwards said because that man is just as guilty. When Edwards testified all he done was got the heat off his back.AlSO some of you need a history lesson on the KLAN they did not just kill blacks they also killed white people too,but that was never talked about wonder why that is? Answer? because they where white. It's about time for Mississippi to start dealing with the crime we have now and stopping adding fuel to an old fire that has been out for years.

If you think it's bad now just wait closer to the end of the year. Not only is gas high now but it will get higher along with, food, and other househould supplies like washing powder, toilet paper and ect. it has gone up already and getting higher. So you can expect to see more crimes like theft because people can't afford to buy food and gas. Somebody needs to step up to the plate and make a stand for the American people that are suffering and losing everything they have because of this sad economie that our law makers want do anything about.

I live in Ms so I dont see our school ever doing this. But I do have one problem if they where to do that. Our taxes payes for schools and outher coutny officals and by cutting back to 4 days sounds great but they will not cut out taxes .they are taxing us to death and it's sad. There is always money for the school. Even if the county does not have the money if the school ask for 100,000 the county has to give the money to the school no questions asked.
