On Wanted man caught in Natchez

If any child 10 or 14 was up that late on a shool night, well.... who's minding the kids?? Sounds like a case of parents negelecting thier duties and social services may need to inquire. No wonder the 10 year old has behavior issues and apparently the 14 year old has some too. Now again, what responsibility does these parents assume in the rearing of thier children? Accident? Yea, he didn't fall off his bike! Fire is hot and will burn and the older child also knew and expected results by mixing the fire with the perfume. This was planned and he was looking for results. His friend got the results. How sad.

As of today Don is doing well for the trauma that he suffered on Saturday. Thankfully, he is responding verbally somewhat but he remains to need our continued prayers for a grand recovery. At this time the smallest of responses excite those of us that love him and his family.

I know Don's family is very thankful for his progress and that prayers have been heard! They have had an overwhelming number of visitors, telephone calls, and helpers to keep things afloat since Saturday and that alone gives the family encouragement and strength. Friends of Don and his family will continue to help as we can to lighten the burden of carrying this load alone.

Maybe the broken foot will mend however hospital's can't fix stupid. "Medical reasons" has to be his foot because "Stupid" is not a medical reason!

By guidelines of the MS State Dept of Health no childcare facility can operate without lights, telephones or essentials needed to care of the children which is understood however those facilities should not be allowed to charge for a service that they could not and did not provide. In my experience, parents paid for thier childcare if the child was absent & the center was open but when the center was closed and the child is absent due to circumstances beyond anyone's control?

The storm prevented the centers to open resulting in the thier workers not reporting and many parents having to report to work as usual. The parents will utimatly have to pay the center and also pay another person to care for thier children plus endure the additional expense of the water, food, and other items needed during the storm, power outage, etc.

Gosh, now tell me why it pays to work and provide for your family! There are several qualified, caring and compassate centers in our area and exceptions can be and should be made to help our families thru this difficult time. If we can't help those who are helping themselves, who should we help?

Yes "oldsaw" - I agree with you. Already making excuses to why she don't expect to raise much this year. Why is it the "economic downtown" is hurting us? Come on Ms. Colston, your focus is the Miss-Lou, not "downtown" and we're talking United Way, not Natchez Pilgrimage Tours! Hard to divide the people who have funds to travel and tour to those who don't have funds for the essential things in life!

So sad, a young guy that has ruined this life by stealing dirty money! Sure wish he could have profited more in his pay check and maybe stealing would not have been an option. Gosh, he was probably so poor already he could hardly do an honest days work. I guess all that money the drug dealers had really looked tempting.

Why now?? These two buildings could have both been saved if "the committee" was so concerned. Both of these buildings were beautiful buildings and still could be. Arlington - what a waste. Fire may have been a destructive factor however the owner has allowed the home to just fall in. Money and lots of it would be needed, but what a shame to shove it down.

One last thing, this creep does not suffer from mental, emotional or no other problems. He is just a creep that would be diagnosed a "sane" so don't think he's not knowledgable of his actions. He is very much aware of his motives and attempts to fulfill them. We probably have no idea of the young victims he has assaulted that is ashamed to speak out for fear of blame, embaressment, and shame. I certainly hope that this young child was not physically harmed.
