"Fortunately, new Mayor Glen McGlothin’s administration seems to be jumping into the water issues feet first."
maybe if they would jump into the water issues head first, instead of feet first, something would finally be done. but this new administration does need the chance to fix the messes left from previous administrations.

maybe all the government bigshots snooping around the polls yesterday will help avoid any discrimination lawsuits. let's all hope and pray that wilkinson county can move forward into the 1970's, as adams county has managed to do in the past several years.

the sole purpose of the parent, or parents, is to have the children, and then make them go to school, which many consider a free babysitting service anyway, until they are old enough to drop out or go to prison. it is entirely up to the school system to raise them, because the parent, or parents, are too busy making more babies for the school system to raise. so don't blame the suppliers of the children, blame the suppliers of the education.
i don't suppose shifting a little bit of the education responsibility to the parent, or parents, is part of the change that dr. wright talks about. shouldn't the parent, or parents, be equally, or even more, responsible for their children's upbringing, including education, than the government? yes, the school system IS run by the government.

round trip air fare for "legitimate" business might be ok, but just imagine if they had booked a limousine, with hot tub and bar, to pick them up at allen's residence and had driven them to and from las vegas. fpd would never be able to write enough tickets to cover that!

oh, yes! it would be so nice if the campaign signs littering the streets and roadsides after the elections would disappear as quickly as the promises that got the candidates elected!!
also, the losers signs should go even faster.

i wonder if those who are reluctant to show id at the voting places are as equally reluctant to show id at the department of human services.

The Mississippi Department of Corrections ‘‘did not prove that its procedure had safeguards to avoid inadequate anesthesia, which could cause death by suffocation of a conscious, but paralyzed, prisoner,’’ Craig said.
why not beat them in the head with a claw hammer several times, this would cure the consciousness issue.
