I agree daris. This is not a laughing matter. It is beyond me why anyone would feel the need to make jokes about someone being murdered and why it happened. God help us!

Since a lot of information has not been given out it has led to a lot speculation and conjecture from those who DON'T KNOW what really transpired. There are a lot of rumors circulating but again a lot of people making comments here and "around the water cooler" amd simply DON'T KNOW the facts. Now parents are being blamed, alleged "friends" are being blamed, evening the victims are being blamed. Suppose the victims were crossing the bridge and some idot hit them head-on b/c they were being careless with other people's lives. Has anyone even stopped to think that the victims were just that -VICTIMS-in the wrong place at the wrong time. Who has confirmed that the victims were the ones racing. The way the headline was written may lead one to believe that everyone involved in the accident was drinking. In the end, that may be found to be true but why not wait and see what's really true. Let's just pray for the victims and their families and wait until the FACTS are released as to what really happened.

I understand what you're saying Thisto. All am saying is that if that argument is to be made, then neither did Glen. At least, the water became more tolerable under Gene's Administration. Believe me I still don't consume it, but at least you can now wash your clothes and your dishwasher won't be ruined by the water. Ferriday has a looooonnnnngggggg way to go. I agree with that, but didn't Glen serve more than one term as mayor and still Ferriday was not better off for it.

No one has answered what Glen did while he was in office. Everyone keeps talking about Ferriday needs a change, that much I agree with, a lot does need to be changed. What I don't understand is why the majority of those who have commented think that Glen is the man to bring about this much needed change. Justdatruth asked what did Glen do (that was positive for Ferriday) while in office. I'd like to know too.

I thought this forum was for those who desired to render opinions. Your attempt at being cute was lost on me. It really is a shame that people use these forums to say things they are too afraid or ashamed to share face-to-face. Saying things like don't tell you slang isn't used in Ferriday could be construed as being prejudicial. BTW, you must have being using slang long before responding to Phatbaby because, as stated earlier, slang is a part of YOUR user name. Have a blessed day.

Can we please stick to the topic here and not get so personal. Obama, it's really juvenile to tell someone "YO MAMA" just for sharing her views on a topic. As for your last comment, it should be I really do not want to waste my time "conversing". Conversating is not a word.
