What I find amazing is what the democrat has against Natchez Community Hospital. Where do they think she was being stabilized before transfer to umc. I guess the helicopter just landed at north circle and swooped her to umc. Whats going to be funny is when Natchez Community is the only open and running hospital where will ya'll report the patients went? Or will the staff of the Natchez Democrat chose to receive their care in Ferriday at Riverland. Natchez Community does a great service to this community as well as Natchez Regional. I think some appreciation is due for some of the hard working nurses and staff that treat you and your families.

The democrat has blown the "infamous" letter out of proportion. The best thing to do is to publish the letter, which the democrat has a copy of, and let the public see exactly what was said. The letter is not accusatory in any manner. It is very well written and was written with good intentions only. So go ahead Democrat.....publish the letter so everyone can read it for themselves instead of only listening to what you have to say about the letter.

Just to clear a few things up I can guarantee that no one with a TRUE emergency has ever waited 4-5 hours to see a doctor in an emergency room. People in this town need to learn the definition of emergency. Number 1 if it has been going on for more than 24 hours it is not an emergency and you should see your private physician. Also if the ER was not filled with people with colds and back pain no one would have to wait 4-5 hours to see a doctor. Dr. Wheelis may not suck up to his patients but he is a very competent doctor who knows what he is doing in an emergency. He is someone you can definitely trust with you or your family's life.

I know for a fact that several victims were treated at Natchez Community and once again NCH does not get any recognition. Go figure!!!!!
