destiny, do you have children? i doubt it, or else you would not be saying that baby should be at home sleeping in its crib. first, the child is 2 years old, according to the caption. by that time, children are old enough to climb out of a crib and therefore sleeping in a toddler bed. second, the baby is asleep, whether in a crib, or out with its family. just because a family has a baby does not mean that good, wholehearted traditions should be put on hold until the child is able to multiply canned goods. did you think perhaps that the child simply fell asleep because of the excitement? did you think that the reason they were all out is to have fun since it isnt the kid's bedtime yet? did you think at all? of course not. It seems to me, that those who have no children think they know the most about parenting. You are in for a rude awakening.

to each of you haters...either you went trick or treating when you were little and are therefore a hypocrite for your words against it, or you never got to go trick or treating because your parents were neohippie idiots and you are harboring deep-set resentments. either way, halloween is the least form of begging anyone could do, and when done in fun and not excess, even if babies are dressed up but passed out from the excitement, it is something that everyone in the family, in any family, from young to old, can enjoy.

and about the payment in form of canned goods--i actually agree. i would have wholeheartedly paid a can (or a few--i'm not wealthy :) ) of goods to gain entrance into two halloween fairs me and my three year old went to halloween evening.

by the time they finish manufacturing a vaccine supply, the virus has mutated pretty much past the point of the vaccine working...that is why the flu shot isnt 100% effective. they pick the few viruses that the think will be the most virulent and widespread, and make the vaccine from those viruses....and the vaccine helps protect against most mutations, but there still are the ones that are resistant or immune...that is why virus pandemics are so scary, because there really isn't anything you can do to stop it except wash hands etc, but even that is not 100% effective. and if your dr prescribes you an antibiotic for a virus, do not take it, because antibiotics only increase the abc's that are "trained" to fight bacterial infections, not viral infections, and medicine for viruses like cold medicine do not treat the virus, only the symptoms....

fyi. she went, she came back, and none of us got sick. everyone is freaking out over nothing. the toddler that died here in houston lived in mexico and was flown in for treatment. the regular flu kills 100 people a day all over the world. some countries didnt even have 100 people TOTAL affected in the few months this thing broke out. everyone ran screaming when avian flu turned into an epidemic. yes it is better to be safe than sorry, but you cannot spend your life inside your house, paranoid and bathing in peroxide every time someone sneezes within a one mile radius of somewhere you might possibly walk past in the next ten years.

my mom had much difficulty finishing her degree because there werent enough teachers to teach the classes they say are require to graduate. they said even though she had to have the classes to finish, there wasnt anyone to teach them so she basically had to wait for a teacher. before she could graduate, if she even got to because of this mess. they claimed she could get her MBA in natchez without leaving and she had to take most of her classes in lorman, anyway. false advertising. ugh.

and now this?

yes we all have bright ideas and are responsible for our own dogs, but some people are not. I'm sorry, but I would rather see a dog die a horrible death than see a human lose sleep for the 8th night in a row, sleep in because they are so exhausted, lose their job, and then starve to death and/or take the tax money you idiots are so proud and protective of, just to support themselves. Should someone have to go through that because some idiot won't keep their dogs quiet? We all love our dogs, but unless YOU want to pay for the epensive euthanasia that the shelter will provide, i would rather take care of it myself. and FYI, if a dog cannot follow the rules, it should be punished. that is why god made BB guns. If you don't like that, go cry to the owner of the dog, who will likely tell you to bugger off just as he would the complaining neighbor.
