What different does it make who her father is? He was her Pastor. You people need to get a life and watch how and what you say about people. You never know just like you are talking about people some one is talking about you. Then you sit and say what Gene Allen did what is Glen doing. Ferriday is in the shame shape it was now that Glen is in office and it will continue to be. Glen and Gene should have worked together as Mayor cause neither one of them are doing anything to make Ferriday a better place to live or a safer place to live. Ferriday will always be the way it is because the people who live there and the people in charge (Mayor, police, aldermans)dont care about Ferriday. They only like having a title.

On Ferriday meeting focuses on street name change

The town of Ferriday needs a curfew in place. Children and adults walk around all night and disturb the sleep of others who have to get up and go to work. The police in Ferriday ride by cars with loud music and do or say nothing. People shoot guns all night and it's sad that you have to sleep with a pistol to feel safe in your own home. If the mayor, elected officials, and police cared about making Ferriday a better place it would be. It's evident NO ONE in Ferriday cares. The streets are dirty with trash, stray dogs and stray people are every where, houses and cars are being broken into, and nothing is being done about it. Vidalia has a curfew and the streets in Vidalia are clean. Why can't Ferriday be a clean and safe place to live?????

Stray dogs? What about the stray people that walk around Ferriday all night and breaking into people's houses. The dogs and people that roam around in Ferriday should be locked up together.

It is really sad but don't put the blame on the Natchez players. Ferriday players need to either play football, suck it up or get off the field. Ferriday players were frustrated because they were loosing and they thought they would win. As a player why worry about a ref's call play the game.

I'm not saying Glen or Gene is the man for the job. There is no one else to choose from at this point. Whoever gets into office needs to make a change if it's Glen or Gene. All I'm saying is Gene has not done his job so why should he go back into office.

I hope Glen wins also. It's time for a change in Ferriday. At night the people can't sleep for loud music and gun shots. The children even small babies walk up and down the streets all night long cursing and yelling with no respect for adults or themselves. Men and women of all ages ride around with loud music up all night and day. The police ride around town doing nothing all day and night but talk on their cell phones and flirt with young girls and the same if it's a woman. They even ride by the young men with the music up loud and never say anything to them. The people in Ferriday take the Police Department as a big JOKE and Gene Allen. In order to feel safe at night you have to keep lights on throught your whole house with your pistol by the bed. I say this to say it's time for a change in Ferriday. If Glen is chosen as Mayor I hope and pray a curfew is set for the town and it is cleaned up from the Projects on up.
