Start with the superintendent's salary. Next get rid of the lady they hired for public relations. She was put on probation for a year as a teacher for fighting children and misconduct but given a promotion to make over $68,000 a year. How can you be written up, not recommended for rehire and given a position like that. It happens when you're buddies with the superintendent.

beammeupscotty has no idea what he is talking about. ASU Library has been open to the public for some time now. I was a frequent visitor there with my online classwork before I got DSL service in my home. It is a very safe atmosphere and the people there are wonderful. There are no thugs nor drug dealing going on there.

Goodmommy, please get a clue. Did you even attempt to think about your question before you asked it? Mr. Johnson is a very blessed man and was able to identify the assailant and have him arrested.

kshollywood, what in the world does foodstamps, welfare, and ssi have to do with anything. Ohh, maybe you were standing in line behind him. Everyone that commits a crime is not a welfare or foodstamp recipient.

Ravenevermore,

Having a degree is still no guarantee for a good job, at least not here in Natchez. I and several other people in this area have degrees and have been turned down for jobs we know we were qualified for. It is no longer about who you know, but who knows you.

The pastor and members of Pilgrim Baptist Church are doing awesome works. I pray that God continues to bless this church as well the pastor. I also pray that God continues to bless all churches and their pastors. Remember, that whatever we do, make sure it is done in decency and in order and that it is done to glorify God and not ourselves.
