There is no excuse for this type action, but if they have to do it, why dont they be bold enough to attack someone their own age and situation?When I could not find a job there.I LEFT.

More of us should recognize persons who go beyond their
normal job obligations to insure our safety.The local authorities should investigate and make sure these persons are charged in these attempts.

I seriously think that this shows the importance of letting our children know early that violence , even spoken will not be given or accepted.It has to start when they are young.There is nothing cute about abuse.Many women think its OK for their sons to hit their wives/girlfriends. My sympathy to both families and do hope the children and relatives receive appropriate help in dealing with this sad
situation.

Good story.I would like to see The Democrat have at least two of these kinds of stories a month. This is a wonderful example and I am sure there are plenty men and women who show the same committment to their children. As the last writer posted.Committment to relation is a great example.

My hats off to a young man who is doing an outstanding job.May you continue to inspire and encourage.when people make negative comments it reflects life.Just do not even respond, take that time to create another lesson plan.Way to go!!!!!!!!

Teachforpeace, even persons in the school system should look for other opportunities.They are college degreed but not immune to violence.I left the area and I am so happy.
