Chuck Mayfield is by far the best candidate. Vote for the BEST and you'll see the difference a good sheriff can make.

I understand that certain departments, such as the Police, would need more room. And no one needs to work in a building with black mold. But I wonder if some of the expansion is needed for all the new positions that have been added to the City. Some of those are housed in the new conference center. Whether they are "friends or family" or not, the Democrat would satisfy alot of curiosity if they could get an honest list of the titles of new positions created in th City and the conference center over the past 10 years. And how much the total dollar payroll was then and now. Yes, the City has grown, but let's see just how many new positions have been created.
I'd also like to see the total dollar payroll and benefits for the conference center separated and compared with the center's total rental dollar intake for 2008.
Come on Democrat...let's see the stats (if you can get them.)

Come to think of it, other than your cans, who gets paid for their other recycled products anyway?

I believe most larger cities that recycle require you to rinse out your containers. (If you don't...you will have alot of stinky recycle at your home until you take it to be recycled.)
If people can make "thousands" off of this, why aren't more people lining up to do it? Do you think there are NO COSTS involved in Kaiser doing the recycling? Should he do it for little or no profit? Would you?
Maybe putting containers in more locations will be implemented later when they see what kind of response they get. Anyone would be a fool to jump in and incur the expense of lots of containers when so many of you seem too lazy to make the effort to properly recycle.
Did you ever recycle when it was available here before? If you did, you saw that people used those bins for dumping everything from used oil to dead animals. If the bins aren't monitored the same thing will happen again.
So the people that care about the enviroment more than the few dollars they could make off the recycling will gladly drop their stuff off when they are heading in the direction of Highland Blvd.

Wouldn't it be nice to go to a theater production that DID NOT include Layne Taylor for a change?

Every time I travel I talk to people about Natchez. We met 3 couples on our trip to Italy, and they've been to Natchez every year for 3 years. They love it! We have friends that have moved here.
Stay positive about Natchez, people. It is a beautiful place to live. And our people are our ambassadors. I'm proud to invite them here. I've never had anyone visit that hasn't returned at least once. That says alot!
On Have you ever invited a friend or family member to visit Natchez?
