City employees do pay their insurance, And if they raise it any higher we won't be able to go to the Dr. We can't afford the co-pays we pay now. Our deductible is $2,500 per person, per year. You have to be really sick to meet that, go into the hospital a couple times a year to come anywhere close to it. 85% to 95% of Fire Dept personel have to have a second job just to make ends meet. Its a shame that can't find these cuts somewhere else, like in their own back pockets. It's a pity.

Let us not forget, that the city was built around these homes and trees. Make it safe but just don't go cutting things down because something might happen. Hell something happens every day that is an accident.

I'm like Tom, it's nothing like sitting on your back porch, early in the morning listening to and watching the birds do the things they do. Has any one watched a Cardinal(aka red bird), the male will get a sunflower seed break it open and then go feed the female, a very good site to see. Once again slow down take time to smell the roses or coffee, let the dew dry, then get out and begin your morning chores. Everybody talks about things being hectic with their lives, just one day sit out side and listen to the QUITE it is a sweet sound. Enjoy
