Perhaps the writer was just told the wrong length. It does occasionally happen that they are just given bad information. And when you're collecting so much information and trying to sort it all out, it isn't necessarily going to cross your mind how long 36 inches actually is.

We had a great time. I thought it was really fun.

You're right. I was not attacked. It was poor word choice and I apologize. Oh, and I do intend to homeschool.
I read that verse. I just didn't think it applies to THIS war.

To all those who attacked me:
There are too many of you to address each claim individually, especially since I have a preschooler to chase. I will try to hit the high points, though. I have never been told not to vote. I used to be very pro-voting - third party, of course. I varied between the libertarian party and the constitution party. For reasons mentioned in previous post, I don't vote anymore.
I did not vote on my pastor. He was elected when I was about ten years old.
I read Ecc. 3. I'm not sure what you're getting at. And I completely agree. Jesus, Himself, said that He came to fulfill the law.
Dixiebell, why would God not pick our leaders? His word says He will.
MsviaTN, are you implying that God told America to go to war with Iraq? If you do believe that, then you should by all means support this war. I don't believe it.
One vote could decide a lot of things. But as I said in my previous post, I believe God is sovereign. He doesn't need my vote to help Him out. I also don't think I could please God by voting for one of the two major party candidates. It also seems to me that if we look at history, Christianity seemed to thrive the most in cultures where it was oppressed. Perhaps if we were being fed to the lions, we wouldn't have so many wishy-washy Christians.
I'm wondering what law of the land I'm not following by not voting.
I try my very best to stay away from AFA and anything they do. I don't believe in boycotting.
Oh, and I haven't been sipping on anything except water and some herbal tea. I'm pregnant.

I don't vote because I am a Christian. I believe it is unbiblical. I pray that God (who is Sovereign) will have His way (as He always does). The bible says that leadership is appointed by God, so I don't need to vote. Also I cannot bring myself to vote for any candidate with such unholy values. One supports abortion. Another supports war. What is the difference? Are Iraqi children less valuable than American children? As a Christian I cannot support the war in Iraq because I don't believe in sending people to their eternal damnation any sooner than they would have to go. That surely is not showing the love of Christ. I cannot believe that Jesus supports dropping bombs on ANYONE. Regardless of what they have done.
I do not question how people who do not know the Lord can live in this country and vote in an election. I do often wonder, however; how Christians can do it.

It seems like everyone I know who has delivered here recently gets sectioned. It's scary when you see these healthy women feeling pushed into a corner because of the way maternity care is set up here. It's why I chose to deliver at home.
