North Little Rock AR just put a RV park on the Arkansas River, had their first big rally, about 1,000 RV's. You would not believe how much money these folks pumped into the local economy!!! They shop, eat out, see the toursit sights, etc. NLR is THRILLED. Keep in mind most of the RV's are over $100,000 and many are over $500,000. Not the gypsies you might be thinking about.

My Dad did the same thing when he joined the Navy for WWII. He was 15 and altered his birth certificate to make him look 17, my grandparents signed the papers and away he went to the South Pacific. He mostly served on the USS Arkansas as a gunner.

I, along with several friends, love to visit Natchez for the Pilgrimage! It's great to have some new homes on the tour. Now to get Fat Mama's open so we can eat at our favorite lunch stop!
