One more quick dip

Sorry this is one is so late. This recipe is from Monica Mayo and I ran out of room in column to add it. What makes it so unique is that when she doubles it (as it is here) Monica adds a can of hearts of palm. Give it a try!

1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

1 can hearts of palm, drained and chopped

1 cup mayonnaise

1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

2 cups grated parmesan cheese

16 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

3/4 teaspoon dried dill

Mix the mayonnaise, cream cheese and parmesan cheese. When well mixed add remaining ingredients. Place in a 13x9 dish. Brush the top with melted butter. Place in a 350 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes, until warmed completely through.

    Christina, for old eyes it would be nice to have a recipe shown as:

    1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
    1 can hearts of palm, drained and chopped
    1 cup mayonnaise
    1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
    2 cups grated parmesan cheese
    16 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
    3/4 teaspoon dried dill

    Just a suggestion.

    Rush, I do not know if it will suit my taste for a dip but I will give it a try.

    Certainly not anything in it that I do not like.

    Christina, I think your unbaked dip would be a good spread for a hero, sub, etc. I have not figured out what meat/veggies would be appropriate.

    I did think about fried shrimp or even fried oysters!

    A fried fillet of catfish or a grilled fillet might be good.

    Rushingjr.- I promise you it is a great dip, served warm with Ritz, you can't beat it.
