How low can it go?

Published Wednesday, January 2, 2008

Tonight the weatherman predicts that the thermometer will drop to 20 degrees or lower. Sound cold to you? It does to me.

But compared to the record January low of 4 degrees on January 27, 1949, 20 degrees sounds down right hot.

Still, I spent some of my New Year's Day bringing plants inside and covering plants that were too big to be brought in. If you haven't already done this you might want.

Also don't forget your pets.

I can handle the cold as long as we don't have an ice storm! Last time we were without power for 7 days. That's a long time to go with 4 kids and 1 space heater! LOL Didn't lose anything out of the freezer though. It was in the basement and so we just left the doors open and everything stayed frozen.

It doesen't matter to me right now, because I am off work. I don't have to get up and get out in it. Next week will be a different story. I have to return to work and I do not like getting up when it is cold. I like the cold weather I just don't like getting up and leaving my house.

I believe it may even burn so much going down that he might have to go outside to cool off!
