Hughie Fitzgerald

Services for Hughie Fitzgerald, 85, of Natchez, who died Tuesday,

Sept. 7, 1999, at Natchez Regional Hospital, will be at 11 a.m.

Friday at King Solomon Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Seals

Sr. officiating.

Burial will be at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction

of Robert D. Mackel Funeral Home.

Visitation is from noon to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home

and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mr. Fitzgerald was born July 26, 1914, in Church Hill, the

son of Boyd and Beula Fitzgerald.

He served in World War II and was retired from Sears and Roebuck

Co.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Fitzgerald; a daughter, Gloria

Fitzgerald; a brother and his wife, Will T. and Nan Fitzgerald

of Vidalia, La.; two sisters, Althea Ford and Ethel Mae Kelly

and husband Sam of Church Hill; and nieces, nephews, other family

and friends.

Pallbearers will be his nephews.

who died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1999, in Vidalia, are incomplete

Funeral arrangements for Mary Hackett, 78, of Natchez, who

died Thursday, Sept. 2, 1999, at Claiborne County Hospital, are

incomplete at George F. West Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements for Louis White Jr., 74, of Natchez, who

died Thursday, Sept. 2, 1999, at Natchez Regional Medical Center,

are incomplete at George F. West Funeral Home.

Shellye Arnold Hutchinson

Dec. 20, 1912 – Sept. 6, 1999

LEWISVILLE, Texas – Services for Shellye Arnold Hutchinson,

86, of Sturgis, who died Monday, Sept. 6, 1999, in Lewisville,

will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville

with the Rev. Mark McBride officiating.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Natchez

City Cemetery under the direction of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Hutchinson was born Dec. 20, 1912, in Sturgis, the son

of John Grant and Anna West Hutchinson.

He moved to Texas to be near his son. He served in the U.S.

Army during WWII. He was a teacher, coach and principal for the

Natchez public school district and a member of the Baptist Church.

Mr. Hutchinson was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Virginia

Didlake Hutchinson.

Survivors include a son, Shellye Hutchinson Jr. of Highland

Village, Texas; a brother, George Hutchinson of Sturgis; and two

grandchildren.
