Beau Pré hosts Michelob Pro-Am Series

The first golf tournament of the year at Beau Pre Country Club is the final one of the Michelob Pro-Am Series. The Michelob Cup Matches tees off at Beau Pre Country Club today and ends Tuesday with the championship flight.

Six two-man teams from Mississippi and Louisiana face off in three different formats.

Tee time today is 10:16 a.m. and the format of play will be alternate shot, 18-hole matches.

Tee times Monday are 11:30 a.m. with a best ball format over 18 holes. A hunting trip is also being planned for those players wanting to go deer hunting.

On Tuesday, tee times are at 8:30 a.m. with a singles match format over 18 holes.

Team Mississippi is made up of Kevin Walls-Jim Dorman; Richard Kelly Marvin Gray; Leigh Brannan-Reed Hughes; Ken Smith-Russ Fransted; Ernie Blue-Anthony Price and Mark Powell-Dan Bland.

The Louisiana teams in the tournament are Fred Schroeder-Dean Baham; Ed Selser-Bill Mullican; Jake Narro-Bobby&160;Hogan; Dennis McGrail-Cliff Wagner; Rick Miller-David Church and Steve Schmidtt-Tad Kivett.
