Adel C. Ross

PATTERSON — Services for Adel C. Ross, 83, who died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, at Columbia Health and Rehabilitation Center in Columbia, will be at 2 p.m. today at St. Luke Christian Church with Elder T.E. Harris officiating.

Burial will be at McCay Cemetery in Russum under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. until service time today at the church.

He was a member of St. Luke Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Susie Ross of Port Gibson; a son, Donald Ray Ross of Port Gibson; three daughters, Angelia Ross of Dallas, Texas, Rosie M. Shaw and Stephanie Shaw, both of Port Gibson; a brother, Luther Ross of Port Gibson; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Tommy DeLaughter

JACKSON — Services for Tommy DeLaughter, 56, of Jackson, who died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. today at Rosemont Gardens Chapel.

Burial will be at Rosemont Gardens under the direction of Rosemont Gardens Funeral Home.

Mr. DeLauughter was a native of Winser, La., and a former resident of Natchez, but lived in Jackson for more than 30 years. He was the owner of Dan-Michael’s Salon in Jackson. He was a mason and a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Mississippi Barber’s Association. He was a former member of the World Championship Hair Styling Team.

Survivors include one son, Michael DeLaughter of Ridgeland; two daughters, Lisa Taylor of Byram and Darla Tucker of Nashville, Tenn.; his mother, Rosa-Lena DeLaughter of Natchez; one sister, Peggie Faye Rushing of Natchez; and three grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements for Kathy Scudamore Mallory, 54, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000 at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, Texas, are incomplete at Laird Funeral Home.
