A small group of worshippers gathered at Jefferson Street United Methodist Church on Sunday for an Easter sunrise service. The Rev. James Herndon said Jesus Christ was put down his entire life – until He rose from the dead. The event was one of many that took place around the Miss-Lou on Sunday, including other sunrise services at churches throughout the Miss-Lou.
