Krystal’s , mostly Cathedral players, tied the score in the top of the second inning, when Charlie Norris walked, and Smith laced a home run to left.

Bart Lane then tripled to deep centerfield, and scampered home on a passed ball, which tied the score.

&uot;We had some real timely hits, and all we needed was one big inning to get us over the hump,&uot;&160;Brown said.

East Central retook the lead in the bottom of the second, when Jeremy Bryan scored Jeremy Parker and Eddie Humphries on a single and an error.

&uot; The big inning&uot; came in the top of the third, when Ben Eidt, Norris, Smith and Brent Tosspon ripped consecutive singles.

Daniel Ball and Weston Watts added RBI hits in the inning to make the score 9-5.

After Norris held the competition in check in the bottom half of the third, Krystal’s added some insurance runs in the fourth.

Lane drew a bases loaded walk, and Rodney Daggett smoked a 2-RBI single to the right-centerfield gap, to round out the scoring for Krystal’s.

East Central brought home two more runs late in the game, but they didn’t amount to anything.

&uot;We got some big games coming up for us, so this was a big win for us,&uot;&160;Brown said.

Norris picked up the win for Krystal’s in three innings of work.
