Fourth-grader Damion Sampson doesn’t like what he sees inside a large-mouth bass on display for the wildlife conservation tour at the Grand Village of the Natchez Indians Thursday. Sampson attends Ruthwood Elementary in Newellton, one of the 17 regional schools visiting the Grand Village for Student Days, which allows local and regional students to learn about Native American culture, archaeology, flint knapping, ice age fossils, nature and wildlife conservation.
