Store can complete Thanksgiving feast

You can’t buy your Thanksgiving turkey at the Lehmann Brokerage cash-and-carry store. However, if you’re looking for a sturdy disposable roasting pan to hold a 25-pound bird, you might want to check out the merchandise at 481B John R. Junkin Drive.

Some of the most popular items among regular shoppers of the store include the disposable baking pans, plastic foam food boxes with hinged lids and party plates, said owner Jay Lehmann.

For the big holiday feast, Lehmann’s store has large-quantity products, such as industrial-size cans of beans, corn, potatoes and mushrooms.

Cleaning products such as soaps and bleach are available along with mops and brooms.

Paper doilies, napkins of all shapes and sizes are on sale, and you can buy plenty of garbage bags for post-celebration clean-up.

Beverages in stock include juices, soft drinks and bottled water.

Condiments are there, too, including pickle relish, olives and packaged chopped onion.

You can find party foods; tortilla chips and cheese sauce are popular, Lehmann said.

To give you a headstart on your dessert, the frozen tart shells in the freezer are an item to consider.

Or for a simple end-of-the-meal treat, you will find an assortment of candies and nuts in the &uot;candy room&uot; at the cash-and-carry store.
