Richard Lambert, a worker for Cable One, installs a temperature probe from the black power supply box to the gray battery pack inside a cable power supply box at the corner of Liberty and Margaret Roads on Wednesday morning. Lambert said the batteries act as a backup power source to the cable system if the electricity goes out.
