Nellie Ezell Nash
July 16, 1932 – April 22, 2001
MEADVILLE – Services for Nellie Ezell Nash, 68, of Meadville, who died Sunday, April 22, 2001, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville, will be at 2 p.m. today at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lee Kirk officiating.
Burial will be in the Midway Cemetery in Meadville under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 8:30 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Nash was born July 16, 1932, in Franklin County, the daughter of George W. Ezell and Janie Case Ezell.
She was a retired nurses aid and a member of Eddiceton Baptist Church.
Mrs. Nash was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Survivors include her husband, David Nash of Meadville; one son, Mike Nash of Meadville; two daughters, Melinda Stanley and Eileen Richardson, both of Natchez; seven grandchildren and three sisters, Ida Ruth Coleman of Meadville, Jewell Thames of Jackson and Doris Towns of Gulf Breeze, Fla.
Pallbearers will be Steve Coleman, Eddie Pullium, Robert Farrell III, Don Thames, Wayne Richardson and Ronnie Touchstone.
Margaret Frances Holland
Services for Margaret Frances Holland, 92, of Monterey, La., who died Monday, April 23, 2001, in Monterey, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at New Era Baptist Church.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. today until service time Wednesday at the church.
She was a homemaker.
Complete arrangements will be announced at a later date.
Pauline McIntyre
Feb. 12, 1923 – April 22, 2001
LUCIEN – Services for Pauline McIntyre, 78, of Centreville formerly of Lucien, who died Sunday, April 22, 2001, at Beverly Health Care in Centreville, will be at 4 p.m. today at Lucien Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Mrs. McIntyre was born Feb. 12, 1923, in Franklin County, the daughter of John Hezikiah Smith and Mattie Smith.
She was a homemaker and a member of Lucien Baptist Church.
Mrs. McIntyre was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter McIntyre; and three brothers.
Survivors include two sons, Donald McIntyre of Gloster and Doug McIntyre of Destrehan, La.; three brothers, Albert Smith of Stanford, Fla., Richard Smith of Cleveland, Tenn., and Joe Smith of Jackson; three sisters, Ann Corban and Dora Nell Fisher of Jackson and Pat Thornton of Florence; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Shedrick Minor
July 12, 1972 – April 20, 2001
Services for Shedrick &uot;Big Sed&uot; Minor, 28, of Natchez, who died Friday, April 20, 2001, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at noon Wednesday at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating.
Burial will be in the St. Paul AME Church Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral System.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Minor was born July 12, 1972, in Natchez, the son of Catherine Watson and Charles Daniels.
He was a 1990 graduate of Natchez High School, attended Co-Lin Junior College and worked as a cook for the Eola Hotel and Lady Luck Casino. He was a member of Bright Morning Star Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Shedrick Green; his mother, Catherine J. Watson; his step-father, Kenny J. Watson; three sisters, Leatrice &uot;Nicole&uot; Minor, Lusrea Watson and Monica Daniels; two brothers, Randy Minor and Kenny J. Watson Jr.; maternal grandmother, Eloise Minor; paternal grandmother, Mary Genas; six nephews; one niece; seven aunts; two uncles; two great-aunts; one great-uncle; and a number of cousins and friends, including Paula Green.
Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
