Ronnie Brown, 44, Gloria H. Brown, 38, and Shenill E. West, 12, were all pronounced dead at the scene.

Shenill’s 15-year-old sister, Albreel West, was transported to University Hospital in Jackson where she died Monday, according to Newman.

&uot;We received information from sources at the scene that Ronnie Brown was allegedly arguing with his 15-year-old step-daughter prior to the shootings,&uot; Newman said.

Newman said all of the victims suffered gunshot wounds to the head.

Officers recovered a small-caliber handgun, which Newman said is believed to belong to Ronnie Brown.

&uot;We have found no signs of outside interference. We believe the problem was all inside the trailer,&uot; Newman said.

Franklin County Coroner Percy Peeler said based on the amount of evidence available at the crime scene, autopsies were not ordered in the deaths.

According to officials at the Franklin County Courthouse, the Browns were married in April 1999.

Ronnie Brown had been employed by the county as a roadworker since February 1995.

Second District Supervisor Carl Lehman said Ronnie Brown was a good worker who never caused any problems.

&uot;All of us are dumbfounded.

The two men that worked with him Friday said they didn’t see anything wrong,&uot; Lehman said.
