&uot; We’ve just got to bite the bullet and do itŠeven if we have to make a short-term loan to get it done,&uot; Smith said.

The board authorized Smith to draft bid specifications, which will be available for inspection at Town Hall.

The board also voted to purchase 10 public trash receptacles from Mississippi Prison Industries at a cost of $189 each.

The iron receptacles will be placed throughout the downtown area.
