Field cut to five for NHS football coach

NATCHEZ &045; A final round of interviews have begun with the Natchez-Adams School District and five finalists seeking the position of head football coach.
Superintendent Anthony Morris said Friday he and the district’s Board of Trustees narrowed down the field of five following a report from a search committee and should finish the interviews by the end of next week.
Morris, however, declined to released the names of the five candidates.
&uot;We wanted to release them, but it may pose a problem for some of them,&uot; Morris said.
Morris and the board interviewed the first candidate Friday and will meet with the remaining four candidates throughout the week.
The board will likely meet before the next the next regularly scheduled meeting, set for May 13, to discuss the matter.
