NATCHEZ &045; Dorothy King is desperate.
A faxed copy of a photo from Sunday’s Chicago Tribune is the only indication she’s had in two weeks that her brother Joseph Clayton is still alive.
&uot; It’s just so hard,&uot; she said, tears in her eyes.
Family members have been searching 800 numbers and Web sites since the storm hit Aug. 29, trying to find out what might have happened.
Then on Monday King’s cousin faxed her the photo she saw in the Tribune. The grainy image certainly looked like her brother, although King said he looks much thinner.
&uot; But without food and water Š&uot; she said.
Clayton, 56, and his siblings grew up in Natchez. Their parents are Joseph Clayton Sr. and Calena Jones.
