This is your official invitation to sail off on a grand adventure, an educational experience, and a fun-filled voyage through the Western Caribbean while learning about genealogical research methods, tools, and technologies from some of the most popular speakers and authorities in those fields.
The event is scheduled for Nov. 6-13, 2005, and will be hosted by the Wholly Genes Software Company, publishers of The Master Genealogist software.
A first-class lineup of speakers and at least 11 hours of lectures on a wide variety of subjects relevant to every family history researcher is being offered. Users of the The Master Genealogist (TMG) &045; or other interested researchers &045; will have access to an additional 6 hours of instruction that is specific to that software.
Best of all, the conference will be conducted on a 7-night cruise which visits such exotic ports of call as Grand Cayman, Costa Maya (Mexico), Cozumel (Mexico), and Belize. All lectures are scheduled while the ship is at sea so that you can spend the days at port relaxing on exotic beaches, visiting Mayan ruins, snorkeling, swimming with the dolphins, or participating in any number of other optional guided shore excursions.
What better environment could there be to enhance your research skills while soaking up the sun and enjoying a relaxing week-long cruise vacation? Carnival Cruise lines will provide the ship and prices start at just $700 per person which includes lodging, food, port fees and taxes, and attendance to all conference lectures.
Scheduled speakers include: Robert Charles Anderson, FASG, Director of the Great Migration Study Project; Dick Eastman of Eastman’s Online Genealogy Newsletter; Cyndi Howells of Cyndislist.com; Elizabeth Shown Mills, longtime Editor of the National Genealogical Society Quarterly; Marsha Hoffman Rising, President of the American Society of Genealogists; and Bob Velke, President of Wholly Genes Software.

But hurry … the rooms are going like hot cakes. Early bird pricing lasts until March 9 and if there are any rooms remaining the price increases substantially.
This promises to be a one of the best genealogy cruise ever, so don’t be left behind. Get your reservations in now.
