NATCHEZ &8212; Joe West, who was one of the umpires during this year&8217;s World Series, teamed up with Jeff Anderson, Tom Matthews, Tommy Geoghegan and Archie Willett to shoot one of the lowest four- or five-man scramble scores in Beau Pr/&8217;s six-plus-year history.

West, Anderson, Matthews, Geoghegan and Willett took advantage of three of the four par-5 holes on their way to a round of 20-under-par 52 to win the sixth annual Celebrity Golf Outing benefiting the Natchez Children&8217;s Home Monday afternoon.

As for what it was like to have West on the team, Geoghegan said, &8220;He&8217;s crazy. This is the first time I&8217;ve gotten to play with him. Wild and crazy guy.&8221;

The round of golf the winning team&8217;s score was anything but crazy. They had eagles on Nos. 8, 10 and 18 &045; all par-5s &045; to go with 14 birdies and just one par.

&8220;We parred No. 14,&8221; Geoghegan said. &8220;We were close enough to get to the green on No. 5 (the other par-5 hole on the course). But we just missed the green.&8221;

&8220;Everybody contributed,&8221; Willett said. &8220;Everybody hit shots. Everybody made putts. Tom putted last and he putted four times the whole round.&8221;

Former Beau Pr/ golf pro Tom Bryant teamed up with Bill Lambert, Lloyd Trisler, Jason Lynch and Mike Cook to finish second with a round of 18-under 54.

Former Oakland Raider Mike Siani, who played in a Super Bowl, teamed with Frank Heard, David Heard, Guy Hollingsworth and Pete Buttross to finish third at 16-under 56.

Major league umpire Greg Bonin teamed up with Bub Mullins, Doug Delvecchio, Lucius

Butts and Russell Butts to finish fourth at 10-under 62.

Singer/entertainer Johnny Lee, celebrating the 25th anniversary of his No. 1 song, &8220;Lookin&8217; for Love in All the Wrong Places,&8221; teamed up with Forest Persons, Travis Leggett, Page Ogden and Glynn Laird to finish fifth at 5-under 67.
