4With the Fourth of July just around the corner, another Miss-Lou tradition was held, err, floated, last week, the 14th annual Lake St. John Flotilla. Father and daughter duo Bobby and Lisa Marks reigned over the floating festivities and a good time was had by all. 4Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday is looking to expand its medical footprint a bit. Generally, when hospitals are need of expansion, that&8217;s a good sign that they&8217;re doing well and construction means good things in the form of future jobs, too.
4Natchez leaders met to begin discussions of forming a community YMCA in the area. Although early in the process, the possibilities look good. 4Natchez attorney Everett Sanders became Natchez City Attorney Everett Sanders officially last week. We congratulate Sanders on his new position and wish him the best in what can be a tough position as he works to steer the city through legal mine fields. We hope your week &8212; and your Fourth of July &8212; is filled with good news.
