Services for Elsie Parker Montpelier, 63, of Jonesville, who died Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. today at Wallace Ridge Pentecostal Church with Bro. Todd Tucker and Bro. Wayne Watson officiating.
Burial will follow at Oakley Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home, Ferriday.
Mrs. Montpelier was born May 13, 1943, in Wisner, the daughter of Jesse Parker and Irma Parker. She was a resident of Harrisonburg, a homemaker, and a member of Wallace Ridge Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Warren Montpelier; brother, J. E. Parker; and sister, Odean Wilson.
Survivors include her husband, LaRue Montpelier of Harrisonburg; daughters, Carmen Arnold of Jonesville and Rhonda Murphy of Harrisonburg; son, Kevin Montpelier of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Warren Arnold, Aaron Arnold and Sara Murphy; brothers, Joel Parker and Buck Parker; sisters, Arlene Parker, Arminta Eubanks. Jeanette Ford, Charlotte Watson, Leah Landrum, and Patricia Parker.
Pallbearers will be Colin Boothe, Scott Fuqua, Wayne Reeves, Donovan Wiley, Kenneth White, Glen Womack, Loyd Lea, and Richard Davis.
