Services for David Gooden, 65, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, at his residence, will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Milford Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Allsworth officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Gooden was born Dec. 9, 1940, in Natchez, the son of Henry Gooden Sr. and Malinda Morgan Gooden. He was a Baptist and a member of Milford Baptist Church. He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Henry Gooden Jr.
Survivors include sisters, Elizabeth Proby Jones and Mary Marshall and husband, Robert, all of Natchez; brothers, the Rev. Willie Gooden and wife, Linda, and Charlie Gooden and wife, Shirley, all of Natchez; aunt, Lubertha Anderson of Baton Rouge; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
