WCCA would like to congratulate Sean Venezia for being selected to play in the MPSA All-Star Football Game held on Dec. 7 at Mississippi College.

The fourth-, fifth- and sixth- grade accompanied by Deborah Whetstone, Mary Wilson, Mrs. Tammy Longmire, Rachael Buzbee and Brenda Lyons attended the Planetarium in Baton Rouge, on Nov. 30. The pictures and sculptures were beautiful. The film was enjoyed by all. After a day at McDonald’s and the Planetarium, the children were glad to return to WCCA to begin a long weekend.

The fourth-grade students researched, wrote, and starred in a commercial about a Mississippi city of their choice. Students also brought visual aids and a report on their city. It was interesting and fun for all of the students.

We would like to remind everybody about this year’s Christmas program at 10 a.m. Dec. 20. The theme for this year is the First Annual WCCA Christmas Awards.
