Services for Flora Nettles, 77, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, at Professional Rehab Hospital in Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Rev. Don Tate officiating.
Burial will follow at Nettles Family Cemetery near Eddicton under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home.
Ms. Nettles was born Oct. 2, 1929, the daughter of Albert Nettles Sr and Elizabeth Myers Nettles. She was a resident of Ferriday, a beauty operator and former owner of Flo’s Beauty Shop, and she was a member of the Church of Christ in Ferriday.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Carolyn Smith.
Survivors include her brother, Albert Nettles and his wife, Betty, both of Purvis; niece, Terry Brown; and four nephews, Kenneth and Paul Nettles and Ralph and Keith Smith.
Pallbearers will be Albert, Kenneth, Jordan and Paul Nettles, Ralph and Keith Smith, Warren McElroy and Elbert Smith.
