Ruby Hudnall

Services for Ruby Eula Robertson Hudnall, 88, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 10:30 a.m. today at Jefferson Street United Methodist Church with the Revs. James E. Herndon and Steve Pearson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hudnall was born May 27, 1918, in Georgetown, La., the daughter of James Jadie Robertson and Louisiana Virginia Aldridge Robertson. She was a member of Jefferson Street United Methodist Church for more than 60 years, where she taught Sunday school and was active in numerous offices within the church. She was a member of the M.Y.F. and the Natchez Garden Club.

Mrs. Hudnall was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alexander Smylie Hudnall; two sons, Charles Ray Hudnall and Harry Mason Hudnall; and daughter, Peggy Jean Hudnall Tew.

She is survived by her two sons, Smylie Truman Hudnall and his wife, Nancy, both of Lake St. John and Edward Stuart Hudnall and his wife, Faye, both of Natchez; grandchildren, Janice Myers, Mike Hudnall, Richard Hudnall, Ron Tew, Greg Tew, Ellen Shannon, John Hudnall, Jamey Hudnall, Angie Coudrain, Leigh Wolfe and Holly Hudnall; 10 great-grandchildren; and daugher-in-law, Clarice Hudnall of Natchez.

Pallbearers will be Mike Hudnall, Greg Tew, Ron Tew, Jamey Hudnall, John Hudnall and Mike Myers.
