Graveside services for Dora Ransom Bridges, 80, of New Orleans, who died Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mark Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. K.E. Stanton officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m., with family time from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

She was born July 28, 1926, in New Orleans, the daughter of the late Peter S. Ransom and the late Martha England Ransom. She was a concert singer and a nurse.
