Services for Hattie Scott Savoy, 65, of Ferriday, who went home to be with God on Saturday Jan. 6, 2007, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. at Lismore Baptist Church in Lismore, La., with the Rev. Wayne Gray and Rev. Paul Stevens officiating.

A prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Comer Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday.

Burial will follow the funeral service at Lismore Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Savoy was born May 4, 1941, in Doloroso, the daughter of Tom and Wilna Flowers Scott. She was an employee of the city of Baker and retired as the city treasurer after many years. She had been a resident of Concordia Parish for 14 years coming from Baker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ferriday and Lismore Baptist Church.

Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Curtis Cecil Savoy Sr. of Ferriday; three children, Shelia Savoy Potts and her husband, Jerry Lynn Potts, of St. Francisville, La., Curtis Cecil Savoy Jr. and his wife, Sue Savoy, of Sheridan, Ark., and Joseph Scott Savoy od St. Francisville; sister, Sallie Simmons of Natchez; 11 grandchildren, Leslie Boyd Parker, Joshua Lyn Potts, Christopher Savoy, Hannah Savoy, Jessica Savoy, Joe-Joe Savoy, Monique Jaffar, Tommy Savoy and Katie Savoy; four great-grandchildren, Adalyn Boyd, Dawson, Parker, Lily savoy and Sophia Jaffar; and numerous nieces and special friends, Joyce Simpson, Jack Adams, Dona Wyatt and Jeffery Ross.

Pallbearers are Wayne Miley, Warren Enterkin, James Enterkin, Bill Williams, C.J. Swilley and Ray Routon.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr, Jack Rodriguez and staff.
