Memorial services for Olivia “Ollie” M. Attenhofer Ortiz, 91, of Natchez, formerly of New Orleans, who died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at 200 Arlington Ave.with the Rev. Billy Johnson officiating.

Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories, in Metairie, at a later date.

Mrs. Ortiz was born July 30, 1915, in New Orleans, the daughter of Bleaney Thompson Monroe and Selma Rosina Roser Monroe. She was a member of the Natchez Scottish Heritage Society and St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Orleans. She was a Hurricane Katrina survivor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husbands, Peter P. Ortiz and James T. Attenhofer.
Survivors include her daughter, Jeanie A. Attenhofer of Natchez; son-in-law, Kenneth R. Attenhofer, of Natchez; and sister, Selma Hendryx Leonard of Jefferson, La.
