Services for Larry James Young Sr., 52, formerly of Tchula, Miss., who died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007, at a hospital in Dearborn, Mich., were held Sat., Jan. 20, 2007, at the Cathedral of Faith Church in Detroit, Mich., with the Rev. Lee Jackson officiating.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, at the Nazareth Baptist Church in Tchula.
Burial will follow at the Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, in Milestone, Miss.

He leaves to cherish his memory five children, Larry J. Young Jr. and wife, Danielle, and Cora Emmeka Young and their mother, Hattie M. Young, Stephanie McKey, Chandise Martin, and Iesha King; his mother, Cora L. Watson; two sisters; two brothers; and a number of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
