Services for Lamar Drew, 64, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be noon Friday at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. James Anderson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Drew was born June 20, 1942, in Adams County, the son of Milton Sr. and Luvenia Drew. He was a graduate of Sadie V. Thompson High School and was retired from New World Van Lines as a truck driver. He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Bertha O. Drew; a daughter, Tammy Davis; son, Edward Owens; five grandchildren; brother, Milton Drew Jr. of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Exleana McKinney and husband, Dennis, Rose York and husband, Dave Jr., and Elvira Davis, all of Natchez; aunts, Rachel Fleming and husband, Herman, of Dallas, Texas, Mary Wiley and husband, Joe Sr., and Artomese Drew; nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
