Services for Elizabeth Watkins Wilson, 82, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Church of Jesus Christ God’s Son with Bishop Willie Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Wilson was born July 17, 1924, in Adams County, the daughter of Isaac Watkins and Elizabeth Morris Watkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Bernard Wilson.

Survivors include a sister, Adell Quinn; brothers, Elder Samuel Watkins and wife, Pearlina, and Freddie Watkins and wife, Willie Mae, all of Natchez; children, Geraldine Watkins of Piney Woods, Charlotte Payne and husband, Willie, and Alonzo Bernard, both of Natchez; stepdaughter/godchild, Lee Edna Wilson-Bacon and husband, Paul, of Natchez; godson, Jamel Watkins of Natchez; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be nephews.
