Services for George Foster, 55, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, at Huey P. Long Hospital in Pineville, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Concordia Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dwight Greene officiating.

Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Foster was born Jan. 12, 1952, in Natchez, the son of Cammie and Lena Bell Cotton Foster.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Nadine Brown.

Survivors include his brothers, Eddie Robinson and James L. Foster and wife, Dr. Evaline Lewis Foster, of Vidalia, and Thomas Foster and wife, Anita Brown Foster of St. Louis, sisters, Vera Lee Davis of St. Louis and Doris Foster Batiste of Oakdale, La.; caretaker and devoted niece, Tanya Foster Demby and husband, Patrick; aunt, Annie White of St. Louis; nieces and nephews, Mario Brown and wife, Yolanda of Houston, Spurgeon Brown, Beverly Brown, Kimberly Dailey, Thomas Foster Jr., Reece Foster, Cedrick James Foster, all of Las Vegas; and numerous cousins and other relatives.
